Physical Activity for Children:

Chiropractic care, nutrition, and staying physically active are important parts of having a healthy lifestyle.  Exercising regularly helps kids build stronger muscles and bones, maintain a healthy weight, build self-esteem, reduce stress and anxiety, and sleep better. Despite all the advantages of being physically active, less than 35% of kids get the recommended amount of physical activity according to the surveillance system. This lack of regular exercise keeps children from reaching their full potential for good health, gives them less energy for school, and puts them at risk of chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and hypertension.
